and here’s hoping 2012 will be out of this world for everyone. It’s not been a particularly spectacular 2011 personally (as evidenced by my lack of visibility here, there, everywhere) - real life has a way of reminding you about your priorities to family, work, and myriad responsibilities and somehow the  “creative” side of you finds itself lost and last in line.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s not been all bad, but yes, there have been disappointments, not always unexpected sad to say… some have been my own choices and some have been the choices of others…nevertheless, time to wipe the slate, time for forgiveness, kindness instead of anger and time to look ahead to new beginnings in all manner of things.  As always, thanks to all of you for your inspiration and for sharing your creativity which I’ve definitely been observing and enjoying tacitly when time allowed. As always, I wish you all a most happy, healthy and creative New Year - one filled with love, light and peace for you all.  XOXOLastly, some words from the late Jack Layton which resonate strongly as we all sit and reflect on the year that’s about to end and what lies ahead for us all in 2012… five simple sentences, thirty simple words… I am thinking, words to live by and may we all find the courage, strength and tenacity somehow:My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.
